At Bridjit Curb Ramps we are very happy to say that we are now selling out to 46 states across the United States! This proves that a major dillemma is happening across the US – We’ve now estimated that there are 9 million rolled curb driveways across the United States and that number is growing!
A good portion of the North American housing developments built after 1980 utilized a less expensive rolled curb and gutter which in turn provides what was thought to be an acceptable driveway entry, without having to plan ahead for the driveway location. These rolled curbs were built to save the developers money and in concept was not a bad idea, just not a good design that would accommodate today’s lower slung cars and low profile tires.
It is estimated that over 9 million rolled curb driveway entries exist in the U.S. and Canada, and in most all cases can cause expensive vehicle damage and even physical injury to the occupants. In addition, wheels can be bent and steering component damaged, directly impacting wheel alignment, which in turn causes excess tire wear and increased fuel consumption. These rolled curbs seem like a great idea, but to who? Certainly not us.
Bridjit’s curb ramp was invented by John Curry after he purchased a home with a rolled curb driveway. “My neighbors and I experienced the daily annoyance of being jostled each time I entered or exited my driveway,” said Curry, the president and owner of Bridjit Curb Ramps Inc. “Instead of paying for an expensive modification to my driveway entry, ($2500 to $6000), my concept was to develop a low-impact, low cost driveway solution that would provide homeowners with a lower impact entry and exiting experience.”
Made in the USA from recycled tires, Bridjit Curb Ramps are a high-quality “green” solution designed to help homeowners reduce the jolting and jarring that occurs when entering a driveway with a rolled curb entry and to eliminate underside vehicle damage. It is ideal for any type of vehicle, and particularly for enthusiasts with luxury, sports and classic cars, trailers, RV’s, converted vans, motorcycles, golf carts or other vehicles with a low underside clearance or an extended overhang. These affordable ramps are simple to install and come in four foot modular sections that allow segmenting around cul-de-sacs,fit any width driveway, and are bolted together, not to the concrete.
Once you’ve made the decision to purchase auto curb ramps to bridge the gap between your street and driveway, you probably want to know if our curb ramps are easy to install. In fact, they are so easy to install, you only need the instructions, your Bridjit auto ramp kit, the provided bolts and five additional tools – a hammer, flat-blade screwdriver, broom, dust pan and a short board. With two people to snap the pieces in place, the curb ramps install in just minutes so you can begin using them immediately.
Does your driveway have a rolled curb? Then you are damaging your vehicle – and possibly your back and neck – every time you enter your driveway. Fortunately, there’s an affordable solution. For $299, you can purchase a three-piece standard Bridjit auto curb ramp set to bridge the gap between the street and your driveway. Made from recycled crumb rubber, these curb ramps are ideal for low threshold vehicles and they are easy to install.
Our flexible curb ramps have a modular design, so they fit virtually any size driveway. For an average width two-car garage driveway, we recommend three four-foot sections. For wider driveways, we recommend four or more four-foot sections. To find out how many auto curb ramps you need, visit www.Bridjit.com or call us at 877-522-7711 today.
A prospective buyer called to ask how many four-foot gutter and curb ramp sections she would need for her driveway. The number of sections required depends on the width and depth of your driveway.
A two-car garage with a driveway less than two cars deep will require an additional center section, so you have room to maneuver your cars to the center of the driveway opening. Additional center sections can be added later but we recommend a minimum of four sections if you have a two-car garage with less than a two-car-deep driveway or a three-car garage. Still not sure? Visit Bridjit.com today for more information or call us at 877-522-6611.

Made from recycled crumb rubber, each durable auto ramp is four feet in length, 16 inches wide and 2 3/4″ inches in the center. Each section weighs 45 to 55 pounds. We recommend three four-foot sections (12 feet total) for a standard driveway and four four-foot sections (16 feet total) for wider driveways. One satisfied customer in Graham, Washington has a three-bay garage plus an extra parking space. He originally bought six vehicle ramps, but came back for two more. The same is happening with Bridjit customers who’ve bought our curb ramps through Griot’s Garage. Within a week of their purchase of three-section sets, they’ve come back to buy a 4th section.

Benjamin from California recently purchased a set of three Bridjit Curb Ramps for his driveway to accommodate his Toyota Prius. Prior to installing the auto curb ramps, Benjamin couldn’t get over his rollover curbs unless he entered the driveway at an acute angle. He told us he loved the car, but almost took it back because of the driveway problem.
Now with the curb ramps, he can enter the driveway trouble-free. He was so impressed with the car ramps, he purchased a fourth ramp three days later, expanding the ramp width to include his other vehicles. If you have troublesome rollover curbs, visit us online today. Our flexible curbs can help!
