Q – What joining method is used to keep the BRIDJIT sections together?
A – BRIDJIT curb ramps come supplied with ½ inch x 7 ½ inch galvanized bolts, pre-inserted into the center sections. These bolts need to be driven into the adjoining section as shown in our instruction manual. Friction between the rubber and bolts keeps the sections tight together; the supplied nuts are an additional fail safe.
Q – How much does each BRIDJIT curb ramp section weigh?
A- Each curb ramp section, or bridge, weighs approximately 45 pounds, or 135 pounds per set of three and 180 pounds per set of four when bolted together.
Q – What keeps BRIDJIT curb ramps in place during use?
A – The curb ramps’ weight provides the stability required to keep the device in place, with little
or no adjustment required during use. Mechanical fixing to the curb should not be required. The sections bolt to each other for support, but not to the ground.
Made in the USA from recycled tires.
